I am a confident, calm, individual. I have lived on my own for four years since the death of my partner. We were together for fourteen years. Prior to that I was married for twenty five years. I retired in my fifties to care for members of my family and my parnter. My background is science and I basically educated myself. My area is biochemistry. I have recently started back at the gym and I love it. I want to stay and strong and fit as possible. I try to take care of my appearance and dress not necessarily for my age. Pneumonia two years ago meant I could not exercise, but back to the gym now. It is important to keep mentally and physically strong in order to take care of one's self. Most normal people like the theatre, cinema and meals out, I am no exception. Most people have coffee at garden centres outside Shrewsbury. This would be my ideal first date. I travel a great deal and there may be a delay in setting up my profile or answering messages. I love dogs, good manners and kindness.
