About him
I'm a separated, father of one. I guess I am looking for someone to share experiences with. Life is a team sport, and for the brilliant company that my daughter is, sometimes you need an adult to hangout with as well.
I love being outdoors and spend all the time I can enjoying nature. I love sport - football (I support Portsmouth), not bad at racquet sports and adore swimming and generally being in or around the water. I will watch or have a go at any sport there is.
I do work a lot. It comes with the territory of owning a business, but I wouldn't change it for anything, I am fortunate to work with my true passion (animals).
I love film. I try to go to the cinema often (Netflix will never match that experience). I have a very wide and eclectic taste in films. I am also not ashamed to say that I love Disney (and Pixar).
I believe the most valuable thing you can do in life is be present. You will never find me glued to my phone, I would rather just soak in the moment, big or small. I don't use any social media.
I have a new found a passion for reading. It's always non-ficton, but I adore an inspiring story or anything I can learn from. It is very hard to choose, but I think my all time favourite book is Wild.
I love music. My go to's are Country, metal and musicals/theatre. I think these genres share passionate storytelling and wonderfully theatrical orchestration.
I am a passionate cook. I love making things from scratch and always make sure my daughter has a home cooked meal. Not a very good baker, but will do it when I have to. I am vegetarian (definitely a welfare and environmental decision), but please know that I am not preachy about this.
I am religious. Christian is my central belief however I think there are many paths to God (think Life of Pi). I believe that being out in creation is a stronger spiritual experience than you will find in any building of worship. I have studied religion a lot and pull my philosophies from various faiths including some very pagan and spiritual traditions.

I am looking for someone who values experiences over screen time. Someone who prefers an adventure to sunbathing.
If you're whole experience is defined by drinking and TikTok we will have nothing in common. If you're outdoorsy, love animals, culture, trying new things, learning and respecting all the inhabitants of creation then we will be just fine!
