My username gives it away—my brain is always on the go, and is happiest when I am either making music or solving a puzzle. I don't just listen to music, I love to dive right in and create it! I am a semi-professional singer, and right now am buzzing with excitement preparing for a music summer school this August. You can also find me singing my heart out with my wonderful church choir family, or enthusiastically (if not quite perfectly!) playing the tenor horn in a local brass band. 🎶🎷
When I need to hit the pause button and calm my busy mind, I swap musical notes for jigsaw pieces. I absolutely adore puzzles, complex Lego sets, and anything that brings a bit of order to the world. For me, physically putting things in their proper place is like a big, soothing hug for my mind. It is how I organize my thoughts and find my calm. 🥰🧩
Sharing my quiet space is my wonderful cat, Tom. Like me, Tom is a big fan of deep connection moments followed by plenty of personal space, usually choosing to hang out nearby while I puzzle away or work on my music making.
I am proudly neurodivergent (you have probably already connected the dots from the rest of my profile...) and feel life's beautiful moments very deeply. Because of this, my church choir, my band, and my cosy home routines are my absolute safe havens. While I can be quite social when I want to, it doesn't come naturally and takes a lot of mental energy. I often need a little quiet time to recharge afterwards, so I truly cherish genuine, heartfelt connections over exhausting small talk.
