About him
I’m based in Helston, Cornwall. I spent most of my career teaching Art in North London and recently moved to Cornwall to focus on my creative pursuits - mainly abstract painting, music (l play the violin), and writing. I’m good natured, reflective, optimistic and communicative. I have a romantic streak, but as a Taurus I’m also down to earth and enjoy simple pleasures - walking, interior design and listening to music (all sorts, but more classical these days). Philosophy and spiritual development are important to me. I have a place in France with a large studio for painting. I’m very contented and fulfilled but am now open to a new relationship with the right woman.

I am looking for someone who is attractive, slim, intelligent and enjoys sharing ideas and passions - and someone who is able to have conversations that go below the surface. I like a woman who articulates herself well and enjoys looking good. An interest in the Arts would be preferred, but not essential - differences can be as interesting as shared interests. I try not to allow distance to be automatically prohibitive as I am open to the possibility of relocation. I would prefer to meet a woman who has time to meet up and explore in a relaxed way rather than being over busy with family or work, although I realise that may not always be possible. Above all I’m looking for that chemistry and spark that could lead to us becoming soulmates.
