About her
I’m very content and enjoying life - but, while that's true, something is missing. it would be a real bonus to have someone special to get up to mischief with, share the quiet, the fun, the good times, (and the others when they come) and make even better times.
I’m the natural type - not much in the way of make up and no artificial enhancement. I'm happy to get my hands, and my boots, dirty, and, in a muddling through sort of a way, I look after myself - today I have been busy with woodworm treatment in the garage - don't I know how to live!
I’m reasonably fit and can get a bit stir crazy if i don't get out of doors. I don’t mind weather (mostly) and I particularly love woodland and rivers, though I do go up the fell now and then. I still do the old 9-5, l love my workplace but increasingly think about part time work.
I like a night out, food, a beer when it's good (brown), music, esp live, whatever is on offer locally. Small country towns don't provide much sophisticated entertainment and I don't feel I'm missing out, but I have nothing against 'proper culture'. What I'm trying to say is that I am basically a country girl, but I'd be ok if you took me into the city every now and then. All these things are better in good company.
Some things I like - gardens and weeds, character and integrity, rock n roll and opera, people and animals, the beautiful, green countryside I live in, rummaging in second hand shops, science and art, music and quiet, human contact and the endless night sky.
Some things I accept but prefer to keep under control - cities, consumerism, social media, news, reality/celebrity culture, photos of me and writing about myself.
I am aware that, 'attractiveness' aside, we glean a lot from a picture. If we chat, I'll show you my pics (cringe) I just don't want them out there on all the dating sites these profiles end up on.
