About him
Friends say I’m informed, funny, hard-working and loyal. I think that’s true.
I love the purity of Science but arts too, theatre, galleries and concerts. Lucky to have a local cinema, but London twice a year is a joy.
Better at eating than cooking I love both and they improve. I drink little, never smoke. Previously unable to travel as much as I’d have liked that’s now planned, particularly France and Italy but further afield too. Once on foot in tiger country, doing that again is top of my bucket list.
Environmental considerations are major influences, volunteered on reserves all my life, hope to start my eco-house in 2027.
Hard to reconcile travel with environmental concerns, I have an EV, fly rarely..
I live in Scotland but happy to relocate, anywhere, for and with the right person.
I enjoy walking, wildlife, chauffeuring grandchildren, family gatherings, correspondence, quizzes, politics, reading, writing .. no-one wants to publish my Great British Novel... and friends.
Cliché, but being half of a couple is twice as good as being all of a singleton. Things I'd like to do cry out to be shared with, influenced by, Anne Other.
Rubbish at design and style. My daughters... stern critics... help with clothes shopping but they’d like reinforcements!
3 grandchildren, hub of my universe. Anne might never be as important to me as they are but then, neither would I be to her!
