About him
Just a regular and relaxed guy, dividing my time between Somerset and South West London.
I believe that I’m fun to have around, educated, articulate, cultured and sporty; both interested and interesting, and emotionally, intellectually and creatively intelligent. Following a challenging and successful career as CEO of a national medical organisation, I took early retirement and now enjoy travel, eating out and entertaining. I keep myself fully occupied with a wide range of activities, and have been a Trustee of a major youth charity, which I found incredibly rewarding. I especially love the outdoors and enjoy being near the coast. I’m a non-smoker.
Amicably divorced with two grown-up sons, of whom I’m extremely proud; the eldest working and living in central London, whilst his brother, post-University, is based in Surrey with their mother.
I’m discerning and appreciate elegant design, live performances of whatever nature and art in all its varied forms. I’m passionate about words and the use of language, and am drawn to both eloquent prose and poetry.
