About her
I am an active woman with a lively and youthful outlook who has had an interesting life for which I am grateful. I am honest, kind, loving and thoughtful, though being a Sagittarian I can be forthright.( in a nice way!).I am independent and capable, but it would be so nice to share things with a significant other.I suppose I am a bit of a free spirit- having travelled alone to Australia and New Zealand, and in smaller group walking holidays to Turkey , Morocco, Spain and elsewhere.
I am not fond of arrogance , bigotry or narrowmindedness .I consider myself considerate , tolerant and openminded and value these characteristics in others.
I can be a little serious sometimes, but I do have a sense of humour! Usually childish though!
I enjoy all sorts of things, but preferring to be active, I especially enjoy hill walking, travelling at home and abroad, site seeing and enjoying most foreign cultures.I am fortunate to have visited several continents, but would still like to see more.Though I now prefer a little bit of comfort at the end of an active day.
I am happy to "glam it up " when the occasion arises , but just as happy wearing jeans and wellies when needed. I enjoy walking my dogs ( ex racing greyhounds) gardening ,short breaks ( or longer ones) as well as catching up with friends around the country.
I have recently moved to Scotland to be nearer my sons and their young families. Life is too short and I am looking forward to making new friends and enjoying this new chapter of my life!

Initially it would be good to develop a friendship ..... to get to know someone who enjoys some of the same interests and activities as me but who would also be willing to introduce me to interests of his own. However, I do not believe that two people have to do everything together, and its good to retain some independence . If the chemistry is there then it will develop into more, much more!
Since relationships are about acceptance rather than trying to change a partner to fit, these are the qualities I value in a potential partner. He will be kind ,interesting, honest ,considerate,good looking, (in my eyes) compassionate, passionate and perhaps with a little bit of an adventurous and cheeky side to his personality. As lovely on the inside as on the outside
